Now, there are two things I love in the world: video games and anime. Mixing the two together, and you could get interesting results. Why did I mention this? Because the Halo series will have its own anime series called Halo Legends, which will serve as nothing more but an anthology for different times, locations, and characters in the halo universe. This is not the first time a popular franchise gets its own anime anthology. Look at The Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knights. Anyway, the following animation studios/ creators are working on their shorts for the Halo Anthology: Directors Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), Production I.G. (Blood: The Last Vampire), Studio4?C (Tekkonkinkreet), Toei Animation (Dragon Ball), Casio Entertainment (visual effects work on Big Man Japan), and Bones (Cowboy Bebop: The Movie). Out of all the animators here, I’m excited to see what Bones have to offer. Anyway, Halo Legends will come out fall of this year.
