A couple days ago, I finally brought Fable 2, the sequel to the X-Box classic game. I’m thinking about writing an OMG article for the game next week. Anyway, it turns out that my recent purchase may have been foolish since Lionhead announced Fable 3…or did they? These sensational Fable 3 rumors were started last March when BBC’s Jonathan Ross posted several messages on his twitter page concerning Fable 3. One message includes “Must go to bed. [I was] asked to do voice in Fable 3 tonight…” while another said “[Y]es they are doing it. Charlie Brooker said he would do a voice for it to ! Great fun !!” A day later, he recanted what he said in another twitter post. The rumors died out until The Times ran a wedding ad stating “Mr. Atkins, 34, is the lead game designer for Fable III, a video game series produced by Lionhead Studios in Guildford, England.” However, a Microsoft rep asserted that”[Microsoft has] nothing to announce regarding future Lionhead Studios projects.” Fake or not, Lionhead did admit that they plan on producing three more Fable games. The question is when?

Well, in case you don’t already know this, there definitely will be a Fable 3. There’s already a trailer available to the public so look it up if you haven’t. It’s just a teaser though…..oh and you shouldn’t regret buying Fable 2 because the 3rd may not be coming until holiday of 2010.
