Remember that “Halo Killer” two years ago? You don’t remember? *Sigh * Okay, Daniel Petric killed his mother back in 2007. Unlike other cases, his lawyers said that the reason he killed his mom was because of his addiction to Halo while he was incapacitated for months following an injury. So, what was the outcome of the case. Petric was found guilty and will be sentenced to 23 to life in prison. However, it is possible for Petric to receive parole in 2032. Also, the judge during the case, Judge James Burge, strongly voiced his concern about video games. “”I feel confident that if there were no such thing as violent video games, I wouldn’t know Daniel Petric,” said Burge.
