It’s highly probable that Halo 3: Recon will be the last Halo game to be released from Bungie. For those who don’t know about Halo 3: Recon, the upcoming game is a first-person shooter which you’ll play an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST)…and no, Master Chief will not be in this game. Recon will come with new Achievements totaling 1000 Gamerscore and a new aesthetic. Other than this general info, Bungie has been very tight lipped about the game.
Well, it looks like their mouths slipped again! In the December issue of Game Informer, the popular video gaming magazine reveals new details about this”game”. First off, Halo 3: Recon will be very,very shot. How short? About 3 to 5 hours! The article also claims that the limited-release Recon Armor will also be available to anyone who completes the Vidmaster Challenge achievement series.
Halo 3: Recon will be released Fall 2009.
