It’s that time of year again. EA announcement of brand new Sports games. Besides Madden and NCAA football, the Tiger Woods series has become one of the most popular sports franchises around. So, what’s new in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09?One word; trainer.That’s right; the 2009 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour will have a trainer mechanic to it.
It is not exactly clear what role the trainer will play from the game’s announcement. But it seems the trainer will help advise the player on how to master the current challenge with every individual swing.
The continuation has been announced for the Wii, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and PSP. The Wii version, for example, includes the inescapable party version, as well as various control possibilities. More and better online options are available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Moreover, the player’s abilities are determined from the beginning of each game, in order to have a yardstick to judge their performance – just like in real life. The next Tiger is appearing this summer.
