Modding Warehouse-Map Of The Week-Convoy V2

As you may remember, I tried to upgrade the look of Pariah’s Guild (which failed miserably) last week. Anyway, because of this frantic rush for a theme change, I forgot to post my Map Of The Week article. So today, I’m here to talk about my favorite map last week. This time, I’m talking about Convoy V2, a medium size CTF map that should get many veteran Unreal Tournament 2004 players excited.
This Team Fortress map looks very similar to the AS-Convoy map in Unreal Tournament 2004 (Fileplanet even confirmed that it‘s a remake of the AS-Convoy map UT 2004 map). In this map, both teams are separated by two huge trains, which are held together by a puny bridge. Both trains has one missile on the back of them, which is decorated by the team’s color. Both teams have access to jump pads, or devices that can shoot you to the other team’s train in a blink of the eye.

One of the many things you’ll realize about this map is the sheer amount of ways to reach the enemy’s flag. You take the convert route and travel behind the train and make it that way (ideal if you’re a spy), or you could travel up the missile silos and go to the room with the flag (ideal for powerful classes like Heavies, Solider, and Demoman).
You could also rank up a huge amount of kills in Convoy V2 if you’re on the catwalk facing the enemy team‘s train(especially if you’re a Heavy or a Sniper). Since the catwalk is very open and contains no obstacles , sniping a person in the head should be easier, and shooting them continuously with the machine gun takes no effort. I even killed someone as a scout from the catwalk using my shotgun!

If you’re a client and wants to download this map, then just visit a server with Convoy V2 running. Once you do that, then the map will automatically start to download. If you’re running a server, then you can download the map at the following URL.
